New Aptosid Heperides...
Great!
Again I need help about Cedar-View graphics (GMA3600)...I know it is not free driver but...is it possible to use or ask for in debian community?
Sure it is not any solution?
Because with LinuxMint 13 (not Debian but Ubuntu) really it is possible to use them
Regards

I suspect it depends on your definition of "use"? Does it not work at al with 2013-01? I think it should, but won't be accelerated.

I wouldn't expect to find much interest around here in working on any non-free solution. If there was something sane it would probably appear in Debian though (non-free or maybe contrib). What Ubuntu has is most certainly their own that is useless to everyone else.

I think Intel indirectly took a dump on those who had been endorsing their graphics solutions for Linux when they decided to buy in the PowerVR graphics (and call it GMA500 and GMA3600 etc just to help not make it clear this is something completely different). These chips should be avoided like the plague by Linux users (they are basically ARM graphics cores and a quick look at the state of GPU drivers for Linux on ARM will tell you just about anything is better then that).

So I'd say if you want accelerated video on Linux on PowerVR based Intel chips then you are stuck praying Ubuntu manage to keep your system alive. Maybe someone else will come up with something at some stage, perhaps libhybris using Android drivers or SuSE/RedHat/Google(ChromeOS)/FirefoxOS/Jolla/???? will sign licensing arrangements to add support to their own OS like Ubuntu did.
