Trying to run aptosid on a samsung laptop from usb stick, the following screen keeps cycling:

Well it would be nice to see the whole log from the start.
Maybe it's the stick.
I use dd with the following added to make sure it is written ok:
example:
#dd if=aptosid.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=512k
The bs seems to make the difference.
//edit by DonKult: using /dev/sdX as in the manual so that copy&pasting is less likely to wreck existing data. |
