A new program for mounting without password is available, intended as a replacement for udisks in some conditions. It can use some early testing and general feedback.
Please note that udevil is installed suid (runs as root) by default, although you can use it in limited ways without suid.
Please read the initial release announcement carefully - that contains all the details to get started, although udevil is now at version 0.2.3.
udevil is available as a self-building deb package (tested on Aptosid), as well as a self-extracting installer or easily build your own deb package. Details in the README.
